This is a matte silk kimono that is very soft to the touch and very lightweight, perfect for warmer days or as a layer on colder ones. It is flowy and the fabric has a slight texture to it if you look closely. Both its shape and its color make it a statement piece that can be included in casual and fancy outfits. It is also perfect for events as it will for sure draw attention when that is the vibe you are going for.
In spite of being made of pure silk, it is quite easy to care for – I have washed it once after sewing it in a gentle cycle at 30 degrees Celsius, but I do advise you to use a delicate detergent made for silk and other precious fabrics.
All my kimonos are highly adaptable to any body type, but just so you know, these are my measurements:
