This kimono is made from a metallic fabric that resembles latex. My mother found it in an amazing fabric store in Nice, France and she knew immediately that I would fall in love with it. It is a bit more pretentious than the fabrics I usually work with, but it can still be washed in your regular washing machine, you just have to choose a setting for delicate fabrics (no more than 30 degrees because the metallic coating might be ruined or the color might become desaturated – I made tests, yes, as I do with all my fabrics).
It has two ribbons on the inside that you can tie together to help you secure it in place, but don’t worry, no one can see them. So, you can wear it as a dress or over any funky outfit, just remove the long belt and you have a coat-type-thing that is for sure a noticeable statement.
All my kimonos are highly adaptable to any body type, but just so you know, these are my measurements:

I get inspired by soft textures and perfect seams and I am constantly focused on improving my work. My sewing machine is the most cherished tool I own – I respect it and take great care of it.
