Powder Pink Silk & Viscose Pillowcase

This is a handmade silk and viscose pillowcase (50% silk, 50% viscose). Viscose is a natural fiber that complements silk very well making it more affordable than pure silk and a little easier to handle.

As a natural delicate fabric, it has multiple health benefits. It is very gentle to your skin maintaining moisture and delaying aging by not allowing any skin creases to form. Its softness prevents hair breakage and it has a cooling effect so that you are always comfortable during your sleep. Delicate things always manage to bring us peace and this product is made with this very purpose in mind.

I worked on making this piece as smooth as possible, eliminating any zippers or closures that are made from synthetic materials. It has an opening at the back of it right in the middle, helping you slide your pillow in it very easily.

As silk tends to be quite pretentious, in order to ensure its longevity, please wash this gently either by hand or on the most delicate setting on your washing machine using a detergent designed specifically for silk. You can iron it on low heat, preferably using a protective cover on your iron (they are inexpensive and you can find them online and they do work wonders on any fabric making your job a lot easier).

I have already washed and ironed this piece for you so you can go straight to bed with it! 

Make sure you have removed any products from your skin that might stain or affect the fabric before using it. Also, be aware that the pillowcase might get caught in pointy jewellery, watches or other accessories that are found on your pj’s or bed sheets.
